Claire & Chris, Married at Watson's Bay

It was 10 years to the day, between Claire & Chris' first date, and their wedding date (And, coincidentally, on the eve of Valentines Day). As many of the speeches made abundantly clear, Chris had apparently been steadfastly anti-marriage until the day he proposed to Claire. Say what he may, the man couldn't stop smiling the entire day.

Despite gloomy clouds in the morning, the sun burned through in time for their ceremony by the water.. Unfortunately, Claire's transport took her and the Bridesmaids to the wrong park, leaving Chris with increasing anticipation (or should we say nerves)... I did hear many goad Chris that, after making Claire wait 10 years, maybe she's getting payback by showing up 30 minutes late..

There was one touch I especially loved in this wedding. Chris had his sister, Bek as his Best Lady, and Claire had her brother, Rob as her Man of Honour (Rob also doubled as the flowerboy when it was time walk down the aisle). Oh, and the cheese cake. It was literally multiple wheels of cheese. It was incredible.

Matt & Linda's Rainy Day Vineyard

There can't be many couples as relaxed as Linda & Matt. I've had the privilege of knowing these two for a number of years, and I was more than stoked when they came to me to photograph their wedding.

With rain rolling over the venue the entire day, and their wedding planned for the front lawn of the vineyard's cottage, most couples would probably have been a little stressed. Linda & Matt took it in their stride, couldn't have been less concerned, and when the storms rolled through once more in the middle of their ceremony, they made a joke of it, and we all migrated to the cottage's undercover garage..

People got a little bit rained on, but it was all laughs and smiles, and definitely made for an extra memorable day.
